About Pinetrees Riding Centre

Anyone wishing to do horse riding in the Algarve perhaps will not find a better place than Pinetrees Riding Centre. It is ideally situated between Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, and Almancil, and is only 20 minutes drive from Faro airport.

It offers all that is needed for local residents or as a horse riding holiday, perhaps staying en famille at Pinetrees or in one of the many quality hotels, villas and apartments in the local area.

Pinetrees provides expert tuition with classical methods for riders from 4  to 70 years old, whether novices or riders with disabilities, on quiet horses and ponies, or more advanced riders training on beautiful, well schooled, Lusitanos.

Riding clothes are supplied within the costs so you will ride more safely, be comfortable and certainly look the part!

The Centre offers riding out directly into the pine forest, past cork trees and the beach area in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve or through the orange groves of the Ludo Valley. The Pinetrees Experience is an ideal ride for those without much practice.

For children, there are four lovely ponies for lessons, pony rides and nature walks through the pinewoods adjacent to the centre. Kids enjoy making new friends with other children in an international environment. Pony Club gives parents the chance to relax and do their own thing for a few hours!

The Centre is an English-run riding school with a friendly, professional international team able to speak half a dozen European languages. It was the first centre in Portugal to receive A.B.R.S. approval! The RNAAT license is 328/2020
